The styling of this jersey references Ireland's kits of the 1950s and 1960s: the v-neck; the "old school" details; and of course, the classic shade of green.
However the fabric is innovative and modern. While it feels and looks like cotton on the outside, the interior is polyester, for both moisture control and a soft feel.
Embroidered Umbro logo and Ireland national team crest (FAI, Football Association of Ireland); screened sponsor (Eircom) design. The crest has the green background with triple thread gold around it which is a nod to the international cups that are given to the players after each season.
